Bolanle Austen-Peters gets Monalisa Chinda, Toyin Abraham, Fathia Williams for new movie

Monalisa Chinda, Fathia Balogun and Toyin Abraham are currently on the set of Bolanle Austen-Peter's second movie, 'The Bling Lagosiains'.

This was announced in an Instagram post by the official handle dedicated to the activities of the movie project on Saturday, October 6, 2018.

With Adekunle Nodash as the Director of Photography, the movie also stars ‘Battleground’ actor, Gbenga Titiloye, Elvina Ibru, Chris Okagbue, Sharon Ooja, Chioma Akpotha, Brother Shaggi and Alex Ekubo.

Though the movie plot is yet to be revealed, filming is currently ongoing with Austen-Peters giving the directions for each scene.

Bolanle Austen-Peters makes directorial debut

Austen-Peters has also made her directorial debut for the project which has began filming.

In an Instagram post, Fathia Balogun had announced Austen-Peters as the director of the movie which she also starred in.

Austen-Peter had earned accolades as a producer for the movie, 93 days, which starred Bimbo Akintola, Danny Glover, Somkele Iyamah and Gideon Okeke.

Famous for producing stage plays that include Saro The Musical and Fela and Kalakuta Queens, Austen-Peters joins a growing list of powerful women behind movie projects.
