Daniel Craig proves he is born for Hollywood eminence as he charismatically embodies the titular James bond 007 without flaw.

No time to die: Daniel Craig’s James Bond takes a final bow

Judging by his bulky physique, you can tell the English actor went through rigorous training so the black suit can fit as he walks with masculine gravitas into a plot that will cause his famous character ‘James Bond’ to challenge his biggest adversary yet, Love—at the same time, steering down a thrilling adventure that will lead to his honorable exit.

The film opens with James Bond savoring a romantic getaway in Matera with his lover ‘Madeleine’ until his past catches up to him in the least expected fashion, Betrayal, which he accuses Madeleine of. This leads to a somewhat poetic separation as Billie Eilish croons her grammy-winning single ‘No time to die’ over the background, setting the tone for this action flick laced with a love story and urgency for survival at the slimmest odds.

Five years into temporary retirement, cruising in the bars of Jamaica, James Bond is beckoned by the Mi6 for another assignment that will see him confront ex-lover ‘Madeleine’ who he falsely accused and abandoned. [Madeleine, who is now a mother to his child]. This reunion presents James bond with new conflicted emotions, but he tries to stay rational as a greater mission is at stake.

Directed by Cari Joji Fukunaga, No time to die never feels as long as its 163 minutes run-time due to its absorbing action, perfect musical score by Hans Zimmer, and exotic scenery shot by Linus Sandgren.

‘No time to die’ is an exciting action thriller. However, it is flawed by a poor villain safin(Rami Malek) and an overused genocide prevention plot that threatened to belittle Daniel Craig’s last outing as Agent 007 after a 15-year run. Fortunately, the blonde-haired spy keeps it steady and emotional as he completes his final mission; Leaving us in a state of deep reflection on specific individuals' heroic acts to ensure global peace whilst sacrificing their own.
