Emeka Rollas eyes AGN presidency for a second term

Incumbent President of AGN, Emeka Rollas has been cleared to run for a second term.

Emeka Rollas, Monalisa Chinda, Femi Branch and Rita Daniels have been cleared to contest in the 2019 general election of the AGN. [Instagram]

The AGN Electoral Commission Chairman, Steve Eboh, announced Emeka Rollas, Monalisa Chinda Coker, Femi Branch, and Francis Emeka Duru as four of the 15 candidates cleared to contest in the upcoming general election. Also cleared by the commission is Regina Daniels’ mum, Rita Daniels, who is contesting for the Vice President, South-South.

For the past nine years, Actors Guild of Nigeria has never had such convergence and that is why the guild became bent on having an election based on the constitution to converge in one place. Nine delegates from every state chapter times 22 states including other invited observers, veterans, the electoral commission and all past National Presidents shall be in attendance. It is a huge outing for our guild,” Eboh said.

Other candidates cleared for the 2019 AGN National Election are Mohammed Kareem (Vice President North Central); Madinyawa M. Maxwell (Vice President, North East); Wassh Waziri Hong (Vice President, North West); Okafor Kate Oby (Vice President, South East); Aganbi Don Pedro(General Secretary 1); Abubarkar Sanusi (General secretary 2); Nwodo R. Chelsea (Assistant Secretary); Ikechukwu Paul Mikevive (Treasurer); Anigbo Clement (Director of Guild Services); Dallas Frank (Public Relations Officer 2); Adigizi Bala (Chief Whip).
