'Introducing the Kujus' is back! The family drama is set to return to the big screens for a sequel titled 'Introducing the Kujus 2: Finding a Kuju'.

Confirming the news, the film's production company, Tmpl Motion Pictures also announced a remarkable step to drive sustainability and environmental protection awareness among filmmakers and fans.

According to the production company, the location had no printed manuscripts and solely relied on tablet devices.

Speaking on 'ITK 2' and its green appeal, Idris Olorunmimbe ( executive producer) shared at a recently held event:

When I’m editing stuff, I want to see what I am editing. So I will first state my commitment today to reduce my use of paper. I also want to ask a favour of you, please don’t come to a movie set because we use a lot of paper but again, I will go back and look within my organization on how we can reduce the use of paper and help to preserve our environment.”

The anticipated sequel is expected to ride on the wings of the original film which released to positive reviews in 2020.

Principal photography recently kicked off in Lagos for the sequel which will see new additions like Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy, BBNaija reality star Lilo Aderogba join the star-studded case.

The Biodun Stephen directed and Aiyeola and Winifred Okpapi produced family drama is set two years after the original film.

The Kujus are again at loggerheads. Once again, they are forced to spend time together for the traditional wedding of Mauyon and Lily; but things quickly take a turn for the worse when underlying tension meets unfortunate incidents.
