Watch as singer breaks down in tears as she pleads for Leah Shuaibu's release

Onyeka Onwenu cries out as she appeals to President Buhari to help secure Leah Shuaibu's release from Boko Haram.

In a three minutes video, the famous singer is seen pleading with President Buhari to use all means possible to help rescue Leah and other people held hostage by the dreaded terrorist group.

"I need you to know that there is a fifteen-year-old girl named Leah Shuiabu, she was abducted on February 19, 2018, by Boko Haram. They offered her her freedom if she would convert to Islam but she choose to stay faithful to her Lord, Jesus Christ. I urge to use every influence, every avenue on Boko Haram to release Leah Shuaibu and every person, man, woman, and child who is under their captivity," she said.

Maybe Onyeka Onwenu's video will touch the hearts of those in charge of securing the release of Leah and speed the process up. Onyeka Onwenu might have been soft in her approach in airing her views over the government of the day's approach towards handling situations in the country, some other celebrities haven't been so easy on them.

Yul Edochie thinks President Buhari should call it quits after 2019

Yul Edochie has made a brave move back in January 2018, by calling on President Muhammadu Buhari not to run for re-election come 2019. The actor and one-time governorship aspirant in Anambra state made this known while releasing a short video. In the video, Yul Edochie makes a passionate plea to the president to allow a younger person to take up the challenges currently facing the country.

"I hear you want to run for the second time in office I decided to do this video, please sir don't bother. I don't think Nigeria, Nigerians can endure four or more years of whats going on right now. Believe its really terrible, the hardship is too much," Yul said.
