Mo Abudu bags honorary doctorate degree from University of Westminster

Mo Abudu is the latest celebrity recipient of a honorary doctorate degree.

The media mogul took to her Instagram page on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, where she posted photos from the induction ceremony. She was full of praises to the university for the honourary doctorate degree for her contribution in broadcasting and enterprise in Nigeria.

"I would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to the University of Westminster for awarding me with an honorary degree of Doctor of Arts, in recognition of my contributions to broadcasting and enterprise in Nigeria. My second honorary degree!       . It is really exciting to be recognised for doing what you love❤    . I am so humbled and grateful.

"Lord I remain Grateful and thankful in your presence always   ‍♀️  ‍♀️. I thank the EbonyLife team, partners, friends (my bestos       ) and last but not the least my family❤❤❤ who continue to give me all the moral support and prayers that continue to keep me going, even when things get tough. #ifyoucanthinkityoucandoit. Congratulations to Mo Abudu as she gets another recognition for her achievements and contributions towards broadcasting and media business. Mo Abudu's success in the media industry was recently recognised as she was named one of Britains 100 most influential and powerful blacks.

Mo Abudu, John Boyega, Meghan Markle (Duchess of Sussex) and a host of others have made the list of the most influential and powerful black people in Britain. The annual list which is released to showcase and honour men and women of African and African-Caribbean heritage in Britain who are changing lives so a number of Nigerians make the list.

Mo Abudu who is the C.E.O of Ebony Life TV was among the notable Nigerians who made the list. Actor, John Boyega was also honoured with the heavyweight titled boxer, Anthony Joshua also clinching a spot in the power list. The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Mackle, also made the list.

This is not the first time Mo Abudu will be getting an international recognition as we can all recall that earlier in the year, she was honoured alongside Omotola Jalade Ekeinde by the Variety Magazine Awards.
