See actor's drastic weight loss for new movie 'In the Heart of the Sea'

The 'Thor' star shocked fans on November 22 when he shared an unbelievable photo of himself after embarking on an intense 500-calorie a day diet ahead of his new film, 'In the Heart of the Sea'.

Chris Hemsworth transforms for new film, 'In The Heart of the Sea'

Where the hell is our buffed up Chris Hemsworth?

"Just tried a new diet/training program called "Lost At Sea." Wouldn't recommend it," Hemsworth wrote, after slimming down for the new movie.

Donning a bushy beard and disheveled mane, the 32-year-old Hollywood A-lister channeled his inner Tom Hanks from 'Cast Away'. The normally athletic actor's rib cage and bones were clearly protruding in the photo.

"Spend more time thinking about food than anything else," he told Entertainment Tonight in a recent interview.

"We have to shoot the really skinny stuff where we drop down to 5, 6, 700 calories a day, a good three or four weeks and it's going to be pretty uncomfortable, but we'll be together in our misery," he revealed in the interview.

He has won a legion of fans with his attractive muscular physique but can his new image bring him more love or hate? What do you think?
