The Golden State Warriors recorded a comfortable 107-88 victory against the Boston Celtics in Game two of the NBA Finals that took place in the early hours of Monday, June 6, 2002.

After Al Horford inspired the Celtics to a fourth quarter resurgence to take Game 1, the Warriors could not avoid another loss at the Chase Center.

Warriors Point-Guard Steph Curry helped his team create separation in the third quarter as the took control of the game.

The Warriors bench unit would see the game through as they blew out the Celtics to tie the series.

Steph Curry propels warriors to victory

The Golden State Warriors edged the Celtics to take the first quarter 31-30 and also the second quarter 21-20 as they took a two point lead to the halftime break.

After recording one point victories in the opening two quarters the Warriors came out firing to take the third quarter 35-14.

With a 23 point lead going into the fourth quarter, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr opted not to use Steph Curry for the rest of the game.

The Warriors bench unit lost the fourth quarter 24-20 but the game ended in a blow out.

Steph Curry had another impressive performance after dropping 34 in Game 1.

The Warriors point-Guard hit five of his 12 three point shots and was particularly decisive in the crucial third quarter which swung the game in their favor.

Curry will now need another monster performance if the Warriors are to regain home court in this series.

The NBA Finals shifts to Boston's TD Garden for Games 3 and four starting Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
