How Ghanaian Musician, Castro De Destroyer, And Girlfriend Drowned

This is another sad news as African has yet again lost one of its brightest stars with the death of Ghanaian musician, Castro De Destroyer.

Described as the 50 Cent of Ghanaian music, Castro, born Theophilus Tagoe, was a what the likes of MI, Ice Prince and Phyno are to  Nigerian rap scene and started out his music career with his debut album in 2003 and just won the Highlife Song of the Year 2014 at the VGMAs award winner held earlier this year.

A very close friend of Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, with whom he recorded three albums, according to reports in the West African country, on the 6th of July, 2014, Castro died while on a holiday at Ada, a suburb of the country where he had gone in the company Asamoah Gyan.

Castro drowned in an attempt to rescue his girlfriend who had fallen off a jet ski.

In an attempt to rescue her, Castro and the girl drowned together, their bodies have not been found yet.
