Owl goes viral after attacking police officer

A police officer nearly crashed his car after being attacked by an Owl while on duty recently. Metro UK reported.

Officer Lance Benjamin was driving his police cruiser in Louisiana when the owl flew in through the open window and began pecking at the officer’s head.

Startled by the sudden onslaught, Officer Benjamin said: ‘I tried to keep control of my car, went into a ditch, avoided some trees. Finally was able to stop the car put it in park get out and there he was just chilling out in the car.’

He only suffered minor scratches from the owl, and was able to take a photo of the winged criminal sitting in the car and seemingly showing no remorse for attacking the officer.

A short time later the owl flew off and officer Benjamin was able to finish his shift. Metro UK added.
