Johnny Depp has taken over from Adam Sandler as the new most overpaid actor.

According to Forbes, the Hollywood actor is currently the most overpaid actor, after his 2015 movies “Mortdecai” and “Transcendence,”returned a poor $1.20 for every $1 he was paid on them.

Taking the second spot is Denzel Washington who returned $6.50 for every $1 he earned. His hit movie "The Equalizer," brought in $192.3 million on a $55 million budget.
