Governor approves promotion of civil servants

The statement described the approval as an attestation of the governor’s commitment to the welfare of workers, urging them to reciprocate the gesture through loyalty, hardwork and commitment to service.

Mr Soji Eniade, the outgoing Head of Service, said this in  a statement  in Ibadan on Tuesday.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the governor had during the 2018 interfaith prayer session of the state government promised to approve the promotion.

Ajimobi had stated that he was committed to the welfare of the workers, saying that promotion in the state MDAs would be based on performance and service delivery.

The governor also assured workers in the state of his administration’s readiness to clear salary arrears within the next three months.

NAN reports that 43 government workers  from various MDAs were rewarded with N100, 000 each, apart from a certificate of meritorious services issued to them.
