The Ekiti state Governor, Ayo Fayose has called on President Buhari to deliver the gains of democracy to Nigerians.

Governor Fayose said this while congratulating the President on his return from medical vacation.

According to Vanguard, the Governor also called on Mr. President to act fast and face the issues of governance, adding that Nigerians are hungry for food and development.

He said “We are happy that President Buhari is back, it is a welcome development but Nigerians are hungry, they need food, they need development.

“We in PDP know what is right for Nigerians and we know that democracy is strengthened by opposition. APC should face governance squarely and give Nigerians democratic dividends.”

Fayose also told newsmen that the new Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will ensure that all its members are treated fairly.

He said “This is a new beginning for our party, it is part of the efforts of our party to ensure due process and that everybody gets justice. With the calibre of men in our national committee, you can be rest assured of transparency, justice and fairness.”

Governor Ayo Fayose also denied saying that he will commit suicide if President Buhari returns to Nigeria.
