In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Dutse, capital of Jigawa, the command's Public Relations Officer, (PRO), Mr Zayyanu Ibrahim, gave some really important survival tips.

Recognising the high rate of accident-related deaths during the "ember months", he gave the following tips.

He said that this plea was necessary in order to reduce the rate of accidents usually recorded during festive periods, adding that any under-aged child caught behind the wheel breaking traffic laws would be severely punished.
