Lagos governor commissions cars worth billions of naira for state's security [PHOTO]

See the automobiles Governor Akinwunmi Ambode commissioned for the state's security.

Security equipment commission

On Friday, November 27th, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode commissioned security equipment worth N4.765 billion.

These included 100 4-Door Salon Cars, 55 Ford Ranger Pick-Ups, 10 Toyota Land Cruiser Pick-Ups, and Isuzu Trucks.

3 helicopters, 15 BMW Power Bikes, 100 Power Bikes, and 2 Gun Boats were also commissioned.

Afterwards, these were all handed over to the Lagos State Police Command.

“Our Police Command will have its operations significantly driven by the right technology and equipment that will match the emerging sophistication of crime in our contemporary time."
