You remember Falz video about a girl asking her date when they were going to get married? Well, this story is even more interesting as a guy goes to great length to make sure his date doesn't catch the bouquet.

Daniel Bickerdike from London was attending a wedding in Cape Town, South Africa with his girlfriend of five-years, Angie Schultz, which sounds like a really magical date, right? A gorgeous wedding in Cape Town? Forget about it. But when it came time for the wedding bouquet toss, ol' Danny boy's survival instincts must have kicked in because he dives in front of that flowery beacon of commitment that's coming at his girlfriend like a Secret Service agent dives in front of a bullet coming at the President.

The duo, who have been together for four years, said getting hitched had been a running joke because of their five-year age difference. Dan added: 'We met four years ago when we were both cast in a production of the musical 'I love you because' at the Green Room Theatre in Dorking.

'Angie being five years older than me, kept her crush a secret for months. But alas, it was clearly meant to be.

'Since then it's been a running joke that because of the age difference, her friends and now even her younger cousin kept beating her to the aisle.'

Daniel tells the daily mail that the dramatic reaction was just a joke and that though in the video Angie looks like she's going to rip his throat out and use it as a wedding veil, the couple laughed about it later.

Right. Angie was definitely laughing…on the outside. On the inside she was plotting your demise. Unless you put a ring on it, Daniel. Better put to a stop to it!
