Kim Kardashian's visit to Nigeria in 2013 was greeted by mixed reactions as she spent less than an hour in the country.

Yes for those who don't know or can't remember, Kim Kardashian visited Nigeria in 2013 to co-host the highly publicised Valentine's show ‘Love like a movie’ by R&B king Darey Art Alade at the convention centre of Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos.

Well, the publicity given to the event was massive as everyone wanted to take a quick peep at the celebrity. It would surprise you to know that tickets for the event went as high as N100,000 and trust the cost of the ticket wasn't an issue as people turned out in their numbers for the event.

The lady of the moment, Kim showed up at Eko Hotels and Suites, driven in amidst tight security in a black SUV and received a lot of cheers from the awaiting fans.

Just when the fans thought they were going to have the night of their life with one of the most celebrated women in the world, Kim Kardashian shocked everyone as she appeared for a photo shoot and waved at the fans all in less than 45 minute!

This move came as a shock to many as some critics couldn't understand why someone who was reportedly paid $500,000 for the visit spent less than an hour with them before disappearing.

According to the organiser of the event and singer, Darey Alade, Kim's visit was business oriented because of her popularity hence the need to have her visit the country.
