Following their EuroLeague play-in defeat to Barcelona, which ended their European campaign for the season, Crvena zvezda Meridianbet basketball players are now fully focused on their commitments in the ABA League and the Serbian Basketball League (KLS) playoffs. In both competitions, their ambition remains the same: to claim the championship title.
On Wednesday, April 29th, the red-and-whites will kick off their KLS quarter-final series against Zlatibor at 6:30 PM in the "Aleksandar Nikolić" Hall. Nikola Đurišić is set to make his debut in that match, as announced by the storied club from Mali Kalemegdan on their official channels.
Nikola Đurišić has joined Crvena zvezda Meridianbet's training sessions and is slated to make his debut for the red-and-whites on Wednesday, April 29th, against Zlatibor in Pionir Hall. This announcement was made by KK Crvena zvezda on their social media platforms.
Đurišić signed with Crvena zvezda during the season after returning from the NBA, where he had limited opportunities to showcase his skills with the Atlanta Hawks. He had been playing on loan for Mega until now, and will finish the season with Zvezda.
After rejoining Mega, he played five games, averaging 17.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.4 steals per game, achieving an impressive average index rating of 20.8.
The KLS quarter-finals are played in a best-of-three format.
Following this, the Final Four will take place in Niš, marking the first time in Serbian basketball history that the national champion will be decided at this venue.
Partizan basketball players are the defending champions.
