Nollyzone news site invited some bashing from actress, Yvonne Jegede who wasnt quite amused about it recent publication alleging that she had a miscarriage.
The movie star, who recently tied the knot with rapper Abounce berated the publisher who she felt should have had the discretion to confirm if the report was true. As far as she was concerned, the post would have been best described as a rumour as opposed to a misleading fact.
In the article by Nollyzone, an image that seemed like a comparison between a pregnancy and post-pregnancy phase became a focus for the media outfit who appeared to have gotten it all wrong judging by Jegede's unimpressed reaction.
"If you want any information about me, my phone number isn't that difficult to get.. It will be appreciated if you referred to it as rumors and not claiming you called any bloody 'Sources close to nobody'.
"Miscarriage means the death of a child and should not be joked with. You don't have to wish me bad because you are looking for news. Miscarriage is not what you joke about. I reject miscarriage (It will never happen to me, because I am God's own) . #Repost @nollyzone (@get_repost)."
Her response might be viewed as a trend initiated by rapper M.I Abaga which saw him challenge an information submitted about him in the media meant to be perceived as fact.
The MC who was a guest on the Loose Talk Podcast hosted by Osagie Alonge, Ayomide O. Tayo and Steve Dede called on news publishers to show more concern about the quality of their work. Jegede appeared to be of the same opinion when she reiterated an opinion by M.I requesting that better findings be made before information is disseminated to the public.
