Yago Officially Returns, Signs New Deal!

Dos Santos, who spent two seasons playing for Flamengo, has returned home after four seasons in Europe.

He was reportedly promised the highest salary in the history of Brazilian basketball. While the exact figures have not yet been released, it's clear the Brazilian will be well compensated.

In Europe, Yago first played for Ulm, before moving to Crvena Zvezda in the summer of 2023.

He was part of the Belgrade club for three seasons, briefly left, then returned to Zvezda, until their separation in 2026 – Virtus Bologna then became his new home.

Wearing the Crvena Zvezda jersey, he won the triple crown in 2024 and also secured the Serbian Cup in 2025. He also achieved significant success with Ulm, becoming German champion in 2023, where Yago was named MVP of the Grand Finals.

However, the past season wasn't stellar for the Brazilian, who has now rejoined the club he represented from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, he played for Paulistano for four years.
