The point of the design of the phone is an edgeless aesthetic. It has a 6.4-inch 17:9 custom display with a 91.3% screen-to-body ratio. The earpiece speaker, proximity sensor and front camera have been completely overhauled.

It also has a ceramic back cover, frame, and side buttons. A cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic technology is also on board which lets a user listen to calls without the earpiece.

The Mi MIX will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 at 2.35GHz, a 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, and 128GB of internal memory. The device also has a 4400mAh battery pack that has the support of Quick Charge 3.0.
