The Nuggets secured a relatively comfortable victory against the Timberwolves, seizing the opportunity to "retaliate" against Jaden McDaniels for his unsportsmanlike conduct at the end of Game 4.

With Denver holding a significant lead, Christian Braun executed a spectacular dunk, after which he pointed a finger at McDaniels. This gesture, perceived as a form of revenge for the previous incident, was immediately penalized with a technical foul.

The referees' decision drew a protest from Braun, and Nikola Jokic also intervened, attempting to de-escalate the situation. Despite the technical foul, the outcome of the game was never in doubt.

Denver clinched a dominant win, sending the series back to Minneapolis, where the Timberwolves will have another chance to advance.
