Indomitable Lions To land in Brazil Sunday June 8

The people of Cameroon can now rest assured that the Indomitable Lions will participate in the World Cup after bonus dispute has been resolved.

The Cameroon FA has finally resolved the bonus brouhaha between it and the national team players after they agreed a financial package with the football team consequent to an emergency meeting.

The squad refused to fly to Brazil if not the FA did not reach an amicable resolution on the matter; the players wanted an increased package for the appearing in the World Cup

Eto'o and his teammates had been offered £61,000 to feature in the World Cup but the players complained about the money being insufficient, which afterwards relapsed to a dispute.

"Everything has been resolved.

"We have opted for transparency. There is no problem and I think the team needs to be mobilised for all to look in one direction," Federation President Joseph Owona said.

The team is already on its way to the World Cup after the meeting. they are reported to have left the country's capital Yaounde on Saturday at about 20:30 GMT and should arrive Brazil the evening of Sunday June 8.

Cameroon opens its Group A games against Mexico on June 13, followed by Croatia on the 18th and lastly Brazil on June 23.
