In 1993, Henshaw auditioned for the lead role in the movie ‘When the Sun Sets’ which was her first appearance in a major Nollywood movie and has since starred in over 40 Nollywood movies.

She has also endeared herself to the hearts of many Nigerians after championing the cause of a little boy, Michael who was diagnosed with Ulcerated Infected Facial Haemangioma.

With a warm encompassing heart, Henshaw was recently appointed as a special adviser to the Akwa Ibom state governor on Tourism after contesting for the Cross River State House of Assembly.

Henshaw has also continued to delve into humanitarian activities, as she has cause to help people in need.

The actress was recently revealed to have helped to pay the surgical fees for a Nigerian young lady who needed to have a lump in her breast removed.
