Paul Onuachu reveals his motivation for banging goals as Wolves consider late transfer
Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu might be on his way to the English Premier League as Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly mulling a move for the frontman.
The 28-year-old attacker is said to have attracted the attention of the Bruno Lage-led side after three goal-laden seasons at Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk.
Onuachu finished the 2021/22 season with 23 goals in all competitions after winning the Belgian topscorer award during the 2020/21 season with 35 goals from just 41 appearances.

According to a verified football Twitter account WhistleFC, Onuachu is said to have registered on the radar of Wolves as the Premier League club looks to add to their firing power ahead of the new season.

The handle tweeted: "Paul Onuachu has scored at WILL with Genk, and might be on move to the Premier League 🔜 with the Wolves rumored to want to sign him."
The rumours might create a twist in the plans of Genk who were thought to prefer selling Cyriel Dessers instead of Onuachu ahead of the 2022/23 season.
I promised never to leave Europe - Onuachu
In a video posted by the same handle, Onuachu revealed that it was his childhood dream to play in Europe and he promised himself that once he got to Europe, he would never look back.
"Like I will just look up and I will see a plane flying by. And I will say to myself - 'Paul, this plane is going to take you to Europe one day' - You know, that's what I had, I believed in it," Onuachu recounted.
"Then I said to myself - 'Paul, if you step a foot in Europe, I'm not going to come back' - That was the promise I made to myself."
Onuachu has played in Europe for 10 years, joining the U19 squad of Danish side FC Midtjylland during the 2012/13 season from Nigerian club FC Ebedei.
