Orlando initially surged to a 17-5 lead, but Detroit clawed back in the second quarter, turning the deficit into a 46-37 advantage. However, the Magic regained momentum to enter halftime with a narrow 54-52 lead.

The second half saw a dip in scoring efficiency. The visitors never managed to reclaim the lead, only drawing level twice. Orlando consistently maintained a one or two-possession advantage, securing their third victory in the series.

Desmond Bane led the Magic with 22 points, supported by Franz Wagner's 19, and Paolo Banchero's 18 points and eight rebounds. For the Pistons, Cade Cunningham delivered 25 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, while Tobias Harris contributed 20 points and six boards.

The series now shifts back to Detroit in three days, where the Pistons will be desperate to avoid making unwanted history.
