Man stabs best friend over N200 (Very Graphic Photos)

A man who was stabbed during a fight with a member of a cult group died from his wound.

For failing to pay a debt of N200, a man is now battling for his life in a hospital after his close friend stabbed him.

A man in Onitsha, Anambra State, is currently battling for his life in the hospital after he was brutally stabbed by his best friend over the sum of N200 being the balance of a burial levy he was charged to pay.

According to witnesses, the man identified as Ikenna, had paid N800 out of the N1,000 that his age grade were levied for the burial of a kinsman and was yet to pay the balance at the time of the fight with his friend, Ugo, mandated to collect the money.

It was gathered that when Ugo continued to pester Ikenna for the money, an argument ensued between them, leading up to the fight that later turned bloody with Ugo using a broken bottle to stab his friend several times.

Ikenna was said to have been rescued by a policeman who rushed him to a hospital in the town where is currently receiving treatment while the assailant has been arrested.
