The Denver Nuggets are determined to strike back against Minnesota, playing a superb Game 5 of the NBA playoffs and are on the verge of narrowing the series to 3-2. Nikola Jokic is once again performing at his peak, securing a double-double by halftime and a triple-double by the middle of the third quarter.

However, as in all previous matchups, sparks flew on the court. Fortunately, it wasn't as drastic this time as in the closing moments of Game 4, and once again, Nikola Jokic and Jaden McDaniels were at the center of the action.

This time, Jokic was incensed with McDaniels after the latter attempted to block him from behind, despite the referee having already blown the whistle for an offensive foul.

Jokic landed awkwardly, losing his balance, but thankfully avoided injury. It's no wonder he was furious. The Serbian star advanced towards McDaniels, but was intercepted by Mike Conley and a referee.
