The Arena witnessed a clash between two formidable national teams, a showdown between Jokic and Wembanyama, with Serbia ultimately emerging victorious.

Following the game, Nikola Jokic briefly addressed the media. However, he spoke only about the NBA and the recent departure of Peyton Watson.

I'm happy for Peyton; he's a good guy, and we'll definitely miss him, but I can't be unhappy for him. He's a great guy. Let's just play this game first; it's good.Nikola Jokic

Nikola Milutinov also spoke, offering his perspective on the game.

This is the first game for all of us after a long break. We haven't played a big game in two and a half months, especially for me, a different system. I think we played well; it can be better, but for a first game, it was great. I think many players have played together for a long time; we know each other, so that part is easier. There's room to improve some things, especially defense, but we'll be ready.Nikola Milutinov

Milutinov hit a three-pointer and recalled when he last did so.
