In a new Instagram post published on Tuesday afternoon, Dr. Pimple Popper tried to send everyone home on a high note with a brief clip depicting a close-up of a large epidermoid cyst extraction.

In the clip, Dr. Pimple Popper-aka, celebrity dermatologist Dr. Sandra Lee, MD-uses a punch tool that's much different from her usual, nearly ubiqutious comedone extractor .

("Its time to #punch out, #popaholics !" she wrote in the caption.) This "punch tool"-which apparently featured heavily in some of the doctor's early videos-creates a perfectly round incision that the doctor squeezes hard between her fingers, causing a small mountain of yellow-ish discharge to be released.

What are cysts?

As Dr. Pimple Popper herself put it in an earlier post , "Cysts are benign growths that dont need to be removed, but wont disappear on their own. They need to be excised and the entire cyst wall/sac needs to be removed to avoid reoccurrence," she wrote. That's what you an spot near the conclusion of the video, as the doctor snips out the sac wall, which reduces the likelihood of the cyst making an unwelcome return.

In this case, the clip is so brief that it's hard to tell where exactly the cyst is located-and epidermoid cysts, as we've learned, can appear almost anywhere. Most commonly, they're found on the face, neck, and trunk, according to the Mayo clinic . Generally they're filled with keratin, at type of protein found in hair, skin and nails. So while it's all good stuff that your body needs, it doesn't make it any less gross to look at. Punch away, doctor.
