The 2026 top draft pick twisted his ankle during the second quarter and immediately headed back to the locker room. As a precaution, the coaching staff opted against returning him to the court.

In his 15 minutes of action, Dybantsa posted 12 points (shooting 4-of-8 from the floor, 1-of-3 from beyond the arc, and 3-of-4 from the charity stripe), along with two rebounds and a block.

The Wizards officially tip off their regular season on October 22, when they host the Milwaukee Bucks at home.
