Morocco's head coach, Mohamed Wahbi, expressed his satisfaction following his team's dominant 3-0 victory over Canada, a result that secured their spot in the quarterfinals of the 2026 World Cup, co-hosted by the "Maple Leafs."

"We are extremely happy. This was a World Cup match, and games at this level are always tough, especially against teams fighting for their survival," Wahbi stated.

The tactician praised the opponent's performance but highlighted his team's improved play after the break.

"I must admit, the Canadian players were impressive and played a top-tier match. This didn't surprise us, but in the second half, we managed to exploit the spaces they left open, and that proved to be crucial," the Moroccan coach added.

In the quarterfinals, Morocco will face the winner of the match between Paraguay and France.
