The Super Eagles of Nigeria have departed the country for the 2022 FIFA World Cup double header playoff qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana.

The Super Eagles left the country in the early hours of Thursday, March 24, 2022. The players departed after their final training session at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

The team boarded a private plane by sponsors Air Peace for the trip to Ghana at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja

The official Twitter account of the Super Eagles put out a short video as the players departed for Ghana.

Along with the video was a message, "Together we shall soarrrrrrrrrr. Ghana here we come!!! #SoarSuperEagles

The players were accompanied by the technical crew, government officials and several members of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The team went with their water, food, cook and other essential materials for the game.

The Super Eagles will settle down in Ghana today and have a training session at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, Ashanti ahead of the game on Friday, March 25, 2022.
