Vic O has finally claimed the throne of Nigerian rap, or so he believes.
The viral rapper who is currently on a good run after the release of his viral beef song for Drake and Meek Mill, has revealed his dominance in the Nigerian Hip-hop scene.
He revealed this to MTV Base Real Talk, a show anchored by MTV VJ, Ehiz. Asked to list the names of rappers he thinks he is better than, the Italian based rapper reeled out the names of the rappers and added ‘I am not only better than them, I will beat them at the rap battle and they all know about it. I can beat them because I know what I can do’.
Vic O with his unique brand of music and minimalist comic videos, has warmed his way into the hearts of Nigerian fans. His most viral singles include ‘Why evils’, ‘Google Plus’, ‘After party’ and for this year ‘Look Uche face’.
The rapper had earlier revealed a story of a failed collaboration with US rap mogul and CEO of ROC Nation, Jay Z.
The Nigerian rap viral sensation has revealed that he once lost a chance to record new music with the US Hip-hop mogul and CEO of ROC Nation.
According to an interview with DZRPT, which has made its way to the internet, Vic O claims to have finalised the plans for Jay Z to guest on his record, but lost the chance due to the loss of his phone and diary, which contained Jay Z’s contact.
“There was a collabo that was supposed to take place, ” Vic O revealed, “…with Jay Z, but what happened was that I lost my contact, my diary, my phone..”.
