Max Verstappen secured second place in qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix, immediately crediting Red Bull's second driver, Isack Hadjar, for his success.

"Isack's tow definitely helped me; otherwise, I wouldn't have been second," Verstappen explained. "I probably would have been sixth or something like that."

"Isack, who knew he would be starting from the back of the grid, did an excellent job of giving me a tow in the final sector, and that's why I'm second."

"Certainly, tomorrow I'll be keeping a close eye on my mirrors because of the drivers starting around me, but today we achieved a good result."
"I think our car has performed decently all weekend, perhaps not at the level of Antonelli. But we're pleased to be on the front row; the team did very well."

"Races here are always tough due to tire management and long-run pace. I'll do my absolute best and we'll see where we stand."
