With the release of his ‘#A7’ mixtape, and his business dealings, many people are of the opinion that his arrival will spark up renewed competition in Nigerian Hip hop scene.

But the rapper whose video for his popular single ‘Shiga’ just got released, has no designs on competition. He has revealed his long-time belief in his self-absorption, declaring that his is not out to unseat people.

“Is there a seat?”, Vector told Pulse.ng in an interview. “Don’t you think after that pause and that break that my aim right now is individual fighting. I have never been in the game to unseat anybody.”

“However if what I do sort of like seats on what you do, then understand that it is what I do. It is not what I do to seat on top of you, it is just what I do. And if it happens that anybody sees it as sitting on another person, then that’s cool.”

Vector’s new ‘Shiga’ video is out now and features Hype Man extraordinaire and OAP, Jimmie Akinsola, and shows the rapper in his flirty elements. Vector who starred in the song also reveals that it is in keeping with his self-based working philosophy, stressing on the need for growth.

“I just do me. I’m back here to do rap as I have always done, maybe a little bit more improved. You are matured now, you are grown. One thing that we have lacked from the industry is that we have not seen growth, we have just seen people just doing music.”

“We need to see growth, we need to see the level of experience we got right now. So I’m not here to unseat anybody, so I don’t see any seat other than where me I am. I’ve always been on my own lane.”
