With LeBron James' future still up in the air, the Miami Heat were involved in a rather unusual incident last night. The Florida team mistakenly published an announcement for a press conference to introduce the basketball player, scheduled for July 27th.

The post quickly stirred up social media after being spotted by a user, and the image went viral, fueling speculation about LeBron James' return to Miami. However, the team deleted the post and clarified that it was a mistake.

“It was an error by the social media department while preparing content for a potential incorporation of James into the team,” said Anthony Chiang, a Heat spokesperson.

The American superstar, it's worth remembering, has already bid farewell to the Los Angeles Lakers, but his next move remains uncertain.
