Despite a sluggish start marked by stagnant offense and lax defense in the opening quarter—where the visitors trailed by as many as 18 points (47-28)—the Slovenian superstar sparked an emphatic comeback for the California franchise.

Finishing with 52 points (9-of-12 on two-pointers, 8-of-18 from three-point range, and 10-of-11 from the free-throw line), eight rebounds, 10 assists, and two steals, No. 77 became the first player in Lakers history to tally at least 50 points, 10 assists, five rebounds, and five triples in a single game. It also marked the 10th 50-point game of his career.

Austin Reaves contributed 29 points, with Ziaire Williams and Matisse Thybulle adding 11 apiece. For the hosts, Lauri Markkanen led the charge with 28 points and six rebounds, while Keyonte George (24 points, nine rebounds, and 10 assists) and Jaren Jackson Jr. (20 points) also stood out.

With this win, the Lakers remain undefeated and sit atop the Western Conference standings.
