Bradley Barcola has been one of the players linked with a move away from PSG, and on Wednesday, the French winger remained on the bench during their 2-1 victory over Aston Villa, a win that secured the continental Super Cup for the two-time European champions.
Last week, reports emerged of an alleged €115 million bid from Liverpool for the player. On the sidelines of yesterday's final, Nasser Al-Khelaifi was questioned about the French international's situation.
"We are working calmly, we don't talk much... I can't say whether he will leave or not. At the moment, he is a PSG player. We'll see!" stated the Parisian president in an interview with Canal+, not entirely closing the door on Barcola's departure.
The 23-year-old attacker is embarking on his fourth season with PSG. He has accumulated 39 goals and 35 assists in 152 appearances for the Parc des Princes club and is now a target for Liverpool, who recently lost one of their star players, Mo Salah, now announced as a new signing for Trabzonspor.
