Manchester City is reportedly in talks to secure the signing of Allan Elias, Palmeiras' 22-year-old winger, according to ESPN on Thursday. The Premier League runners-up are hoping to reach an agreement for the Brazilian forward, who is being eyed as a potential replacement for Savinho, a target for Tottenham.
Meanwhile, The Athletic reports that the attacker, a key player for Abel Ferreira's Verdão – having featured in 95 first-team matches over the last two seasons – could cost the Citizens close to €100 million. The São Paulo club is demanding an astronomical fee to release the player.
Conversely, the Spurs are already believed to be negotiating for Savinho, a winger they unsuccessfully pursued last summer. A move to Tottenham now seems probable, with Omar Marmoush, who arrived at the Etihad Stadium in January 2025 from Eintracht Frankfurt, also being linked with Roberto De Zerbi's side in recent hours.
This could be a very busy end to the transfer window for Manchester City, who have already confirmed the departures of Rodri to Barcelona and Tijjani Reijnders to Al Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia. Another player who could be on his way out is former FC Porto midfielder Nico González, should Newcastle United firm up their interest in the Spanish midfielder.
Regarding new arrivals, in addition to Allan Elias, the English club is optimistic about finalizing a deal for Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, who impressed at the 2026 World Cup, before the transfer window closes. Negotiations with Lille are reportedly in an advanced stage, according to the British press.
