Transfer Market: Another Club Chasing Casa Pia's Center-Back

João Goulart's name continues to be a hot topic this transfer window. Following reports by A BOLA that Levski Sofia, the Bulgarian champions managed by Spaniard Julio Velázquez, had expressed interest in the center-back, another suitor has now emerged.

Russian club CSKA Moscow, who count former Sporting player Matheus Reis among their ranks, have entered the fray for the defender who came through Alvalade's academy. For now, these are only exploratory contacts, but Casa Pia's stance is clear: Goulart will cost €1.5 million.

It's worth noting that the 26-year-old João Goulart is heading into his third season with the Pina Manique club, with whom he is under contract until June 2027, and is considered one of the team's key players. Last season, he played 2343 minutes across 30 matches.
