Pramac Yamaha rider Toprak Razgatlioglu has undergone successful surgery on his right shoulder following a crash during Free Practice 2 at the Indonesian Grand Prix earlier this month.

The injury sidelines the Turkish star for the remainder of his rookie MotoGP campaign. However, Razgatlioglu confirmed that he has already resumed training with the aim of returning to the saddle as soon as possible. While a return could theoretically come as early as 1 December during the traditional one-day post-season test in Valencia, he is more likely to wait until pre-season testing in early 2027 to jump back on a MotoGP machine.

"Sometimes things happen that you just don't expect. I'm going through a difficult period because, for the first time in my racing career, I've had to end a season prematurely. It feels very strange watching the races on TV instead of competing in them," the Turkish rider shared on Instagram. "I had shoulder surgery so I can return even stronger, and I've already started training. I hope to be back on the bike as soon as possible. I want to thank the entire Yamaha family, my team, and Dr. Minola. Thank you as well to everyone who supported me and didn't leave my side during this tough moment, sending their best wishes."
