Music star throws shade at MAMA 2015

Pop star Timaya threw a shade at MAMA 2015 when the award ceremony was going on in Durban, South Africa.

Timaya (who was not nominated) was in America when he shared a picture of him on a pay phone with the caption "Calling Africa. Wats going on @ the MAMA's award, how's the politics over there?"

Despite being one of Nigeria's consistent hit makers, Timaya's success in other African countries has been minimal.

While most people agree with the winners of MAMA 2015, Timaya disagrees. Did he take a shot at the award ceremony because he was not nominated? Who knows.

On July 15, 2015 Timaya welcomed his second child, a baby girl.
