This Can Only Mean One Thing! Red Star Fans Ecstatic After Seeing Butler's Comment to Teammate Who Extended Contract!

"Yeah, because I wouldn't be coming back if he wasn't here."

"Good job, guys."

Crvena zvezda Meridianbet center, Ebuka Izundu, has extended his contract with the club for an additional two seasons, ensuring he remains in the red and white jersey until the conclusion of the 2028 competitive season. Izundu, who joined our ranks before the start of the 2025-2026 season, has been one of the most pleasant surprises in the entire EuroLeague. He has proven to be a cornerstone for our team in the seasons to come. During the current season, Izundu averages 8 points and 4 rebounds per game in an average of 15 minutes on the court, making him the most efficient player in the EuroLeague by this metric. He was also named MVP of EuroLeague Round 23 in the game against Monaco, and delivered excellent performances, coupled with immense energy on the court, against Virtus and Dubai. His contributions have significantly impacted Crvena zvezda Meridianbet's already successful EuroLeague season. His crucial impact on our team's play often extends beyond statistical parameters, and his conduct both on and off the court demonstrates that he will be an increasingly vital player for Crvena zvezda's future! The club is delighted that Ebuka Izundu prioritized our offer during negotiations, showing understanding and a strong desire to remain a Crvena zvezda basketball player, despite numerous offers from other EuroLeague clubs following his outstanding season in our jersey.
