Most fans of "TWD" hate the character Negan, who was last seen preparing to take the life of a beloved character on show.

In a new featurette, Jeffery Dean Morgan talks being the despised villain, Negan, on "The Walking Dead."

According to the actor, this is his first time of playing a character not loved by the viewers. Never the less, he admits having fun interpreting the character.

The actor made his debut in the season six finale episode with his infamous Lucille. The episode ended with Negan playing a game to decide who would be the first to meet Lucille.

The upcoming seventh season of "TWD" titled “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be,” will reveal the identity of the important character killed off by Negan in season six finale.

The show's seventh season will comprise of 16 episodes, and will air in two parts, with the first eight episodes premiering October 23, and the final eight returning February 2017.

On October 23, 2016, AMC renewed the show for its eighth season, which will premiere in late 2017 and will kick off with the 100th episode of the series.
