For the second time in his career, Aleksandar Vezenkov has been named the EuroLeague Regular Season MVP. Europe's most prestigious club competition officially announced that the Bulgarian star of Olympiacos has claimed the coveted individual award for the second time.
Sasha was also recognized as the top player of the tournament's regular season in 2023. Then, as now, the forward also secured the Alphonso Ford EuroLeague Top Scorer Trophy for the regular season.
Vezenkov was instrumental in Olympiacos finishing first in the EuroLeague regular season standings. He achieved the highest Performance Index Rating (PIR) for the season in the tournament with 23.1. Sasha also became the EuroLeague's leading scorer with an average of 19.4 points per game. Vezenkov concluded the 2025/26 season as the leader in defensive rebounds with 5.1. In the overall rebounding rankings, the Bulgarian stands fifth with 6.6.
Earlier, it was announced that Vezenkov was also part of the EuroLeague's All-First Team, where he is joined by Sylvain Francisco, Jean Montero, Elijah Bryant, and Nikola Milutinov.
Last season, Sasha narrowly missed out on the Regular Season MVP title, with Panathinaikos guard Kendrick Nunn being preferred. However, in the 2024/25 season, Vezenkov became the inaugural recipient of the EuroLeague Playoffs MVP award.
