Pastor Matthew Asuquo, an Akwa Ibom State born man is still in pains after a co-tenant set his only son ablaze, leading to the death of the promising young man who was seen as the shining light of the family.

Pastor Asuquo whose family resides in Ajegunle in the Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government Area of Lagos State, is still to come to terms with the fact that he has lost his son while the co-tenant who has, at various times, inflicted injuries on his wife, is still walking free.

To this end, he has petitioned the Lagos State Police Command over the repeated attack on his family by the tenant who has been identified as Jane Osasa.

In the petition, Pastor Asuquo claimed that Osasa had been harassing his family for years and despite several reports he had lodged at the Ajeromi Police Station, nothing had been done because Osasa who is referred to as Iron Lady in the area,  is an influential woman and had been let off the hook anytime she commits any crime.

The bereaved father narrated how Osasa had an argument in their compound with his wife, Cecilia, on Mach 20, and while they were arguing, she brought out a knife with which she stabbed his wife on her forehead.

He said that he reported the case at the police station but the culprit was not arrested nor anything done to her, giving her the boldness to carrying out more horrendous attacks on his family including stabbing his daughter on the neck on June 13.

But the Iron Lady, riding on the crest of her clout with the police, Osasa allegedly carried out the dreadful act of burning his son, Matthew, to death with the connivance of her husband and another of her relatives called Danger, who set the young boy ablaze on August 19.
