Yesterday at TerraKulture, Victoria Island, the Taruwa Festival which begun on the 4th of June successfully wrapped up yesterday night for the year.
The finale was called an Ankara Ball , as all guests were expected to be wearing ankara fabrics. Several of the guests came looking lovely in several ankara styles.
The show was hosted by two utterly hilarious individuals, Lanre and Bibi who effortlessly kept the audience entertained. During the event, two designers showcased their absolutely stunning designs which were all for sale after which renown spoken word poet Bassek Ikpi came up on stage in a gorgeous strapless champagne dress.
Also, the lady guitarist with the ground shattering voice Aramide came up on stage and serenaded the audience with her hit song 'Eledumare'
Media personality; Wana Wana also came on stage to do spoken word in a poem called 'My hips dont lie'. The night was a classy one,filled with individuals who have high taste in art, food, comedy, poetry and fashion.
