How Woman Survived After Being Trapped For 3 Days

According to reports, how a 45-year-old woman survived the synagogue building collapse is nothing short of a miracle.

It was gathered that three days after the crash of the six-storey building , a woman reportedly trapped in the rubble, walked out unaided at about 2.a.m on Tuesday as rescue operations were being carried out on the building site.

Speaking on the incident to Premium Times, Ibrahim Farinloye, the South-West spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, said the woman, who had been trapped under the rubble since the accident on Friday, is "hale and hearty."

“She was traumatized, so we didn’t want her to talk. But she sustained little injuries on her ankle and wrist,” Mr. Farinloye confirmed on phone.

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said the police would be using search dogs to help find victims who are believed to be trapped under the collapsed building.

Yesterday, it was announced by NEMA that the death toll had risen to 45 and 130 people had been rescued from the rubble.
