Nigeria through to semi-finals after trashing Egypt 4-1

The Supersand Eagles of Nigeria are through to the semi-finals of the 2015 African Beach Soccer Championship after whipping Egypt 4-1.

Nigeria opened scoring in the second period and then completed the rout in the third period.

The Supersand Eagles will face their counterparts from Cote d’Ivoire on Thursday, April 16 in the semi-fianl.

Emeka Ogbonna continued with his form as he scored a brace while with Captain Isiaka Olawale and Abu Azeez scored one each.

Thursday’s session with the Ivorians is expected to be tougher as the West African rivals possess a number of quality players just like the Nigerians.
